<aside> 👋🏽 Welcome !
I know resources can be scattered accross various emails/Teams groups/FB so this is an attempt collate and give you the fundamentals for most of Y5. This is not an exhaustive list, and but generally includes what I and most people I know found most useful, all in one place for ease of access.
Please feel free to share this around and God willing can be beneficial to you <3

<aside> ❗ DISCLAIMER: A lot of these resources are student-made, and so undoubtedly contain errors. Additionally, guidelines always change so just take any dated materials (esp notes!) with a grain of salt, always prioritise latest guidelines or more importantly, what Karim says.

Resources
This Notion page consists of lots of attached word documents, PDFs and opinions from myself and what I’ve heard generally amongst peers re what is helpful/ representative/ difficult. Again, take what works for you as at the end of the day, if you find it helpful then it’s a worthy resource.
Any problems w this page, shoot me an email: [email protected]
If you like to use other people’s notes, there are a million and one options. Always cross check these with current guidelines, as that’s what the exam will test. NICE guidelines will cover the bulk of paeds and psych, and RCOGs for O&G.
Listed some banks and further resources for note editing/making:
ICSM notes - Pick ONE and stick with it!
Zero to Finals - lots of conditions esp in paeds don’t have a dedicated page in the guidelines but is found on ZtF. If I struggled to find easy to digest into that was pitched at the right level, ZtF pretty much always had something.
BMJ - if you're really struggling to find treatment pathways or if you want concise academic (but not too crazy) explanations of pathophysiology, use BMJ. But NICE/RCOG should be your priority when covering management.
I found keeping a track of conditions was easiest done on Excel. Attached one below, but know that in Specialties, some notes were not “conditions” (e.g. hearing tests in kids, sectioning laws) and so not included!
[Path Lecture list to be added]
These are the books I've heard recommended by numerous people, and often consultants.
Illustrated Textbook of Paediatrics by Tom Lissauer - easy to find PDFs online, couldn’t compress it small enough to upload it to this page sorry!
I found the cases uncovered books great for when I’d covered conditions or had exposure on placement, but had undoubtedly forgotten a few weeks later. Nip at them as the year goes on. Feels less draining than constantly doing question banks, and feels a bit more holistic.
